Learn to Sew More (Intermediate Pant Edition) | Saturday Mornings | Adults | Starting March 7th

CA$525.00

Intermediate Sewing Course
Recommended for grads of Learn to Sew or confident beginners

This intermediate course is a guided sew-along designed to help you build skills in a clear, practical way. Instead of learning techniques in isolation, you’ll practice each step and then apply it directly to a real garment.

Together, we’ll make a pair of fixed-waistband pants with an invisible zipper. At each stage of the process, we’ll work through short technique mock-ups first — then move straight into sewing that same skill on your pants. This gives you better context, more confidence, and a deeper understanding of how garments come together.

This course is a great fit if you’re comfortable using a sewing machine and following basic patterns, and you’re ready to take on more structure and detail — with support along the way.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Using fusible interfacing for structure

  • Finishing seams and edges with bias tape

  • Understitching for clean, professional results

  • Inserting an invisible zipper

  • Constructing a fixed waistband

  • Sewing a complete pair of pants from start to finish

Time: 10am-1pm

Location: 263 Columbia Street, Vancouver (Gastown)

Dates: Every Saturday Morning for 6 weeks
