Private Sewing Lessons & Fitting Sessions

Your project. Your pace. Your time.

$75 / Hour

  • Bring your own project and we’ll meet you where you’re at. We can help with:

    • Construction troubleshooting

    • Pattern adjustments and alterations

    • Fitting mockups or in-progress garments

    • Sewing techniques you want to master

    • Reviewing your self-drafted patterns

If you’re past the basics but not done learning, these sessions are for you.

  • These sessions are ideal if:

    • You’ve taken our Learn to Sew course but want more flexibility

    • You’re an intermediate/advanced sewist with specific goals

    • You’ve outgrown beginner classes but still want support

    • You’re building your own patterns and want expert feedback

    • You need help beyond Youtube and you need expert in person feedback.

  • Private sessions are available most weeknights and weekends. We'll do our best to match you with an instructor based on your availability and project needs.

  • $75/hour
Sessions are a minimum of 2 hours. You can book one-on-one or bring a friend.

  • All of our instructors have formal training in fashion design and real-world industry experience. They’re here to support your goals with the skills, insight, and professionalism to help you build great garments—your way.

  • Yes! Private sessions can be booked for one or two people. If you and a friend are working on similar skill levels or want to sew together, we’re happy to accommodate both of you in the same session. The hourly rate is still $75 total (not per person), and we recommend projects that allow you both to stay equally engaged.

For more than two people, we recommend checking out our group classes or booking a custom workshop.

  • Probably not—but that’s totally normal! Sewing a full garment usually takes multiple sessions, especially if you’re learning new techniques or making fit adjustments along the way.

Click the Book button to fill out our intake form, and we’ll let you know how many hours we recommend based on your project.

  • No—our industrial machines are reserved for our in-house sampling and production work. We don’t teach on industrial equipment.

You’ll have access to all of our class sewing machines (home/domestic machines), tools, and studio setup during your session.
