Learn to Sew More Vancouver | Saturday Mornings | Adults | Starting September 6th
Learn to Sew More
Intermediate Sewing Course
6 sessions – 3 hours each
Recommended for grads of Learn to Sew or confident beginners
Ready to level up your sewing? This intermediate course is designed to sharpen your technical skills and help you tackle more complex garments — with guidance every step of the way.
We’ll begin by building a set of technique samples, including zippers, waistbands, and set-in sleeves, so you feel confident going into your next project. Then, you’ll choose a garment from our Chenko Studios project catalog to bring to life — applying what you've learned in a hands-on, personalized way.
This course is perfect for anyone who can confidently thread a machine and sew a basic garment, and wants to take things further.
You’ll learn how to:
Insert invisible and centered zippers
Sew a structured waistband
Set in a sleeve with confidence
Understand construction order for intermediate garments
Tackle a more complex sewing pattern with support
Time: 9:30am-12:30pm
Location: 263 Columbia Street, Vancouver (Gastown)
Dates: Every Saturday Morning for 8 weeks (September 6, September 13, September 20, September 27, October 4, October 11 - Closed for Thanksgiving, October 18).
